Global Citizenship Intermediate
At the Intermediate level of Global Citizenship you are responsible and accountable for building a workplace culture compatible with your organisation’s values and behaviours. You actively encourage others to respect cultural differences and create opportunities for inclusion of different views, backgrounds and perspectives. You can understand and take the perspective of different groups and cultures. To promote awareness and understanding of different perspectives, values, beliefs and behaviours you work across your team in an inclusive manner and harness differences to produce a superior result.
Global Citizenship Proficient
At the Proficient level of Global Citizenship you are promoting a culture of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with colleagues, customers, partners, stakeholders and the community, both locally and globally. Within your role you will be focused on appreciating the broader historical, political, social and economic factors shaping values, beliefs and practices in a particular context. You are leading your team with cultural sensitivity and are promoting a culture of awareness and understanding of the range of different perspectives, values, beliefs and behaviours in your workforce. You are exhibiting, and leading your team with, integrity and commitment to professional and organisational ethical standards.
Global Citizenship Advanced
At the Advanced level of Global Citizenship you understand the principles and methods for managing an organisation’s cultural awareness and engagement. Within your role you actively promote the respect for protocols, etiquettes and origins underpinning other cultures and you work within your organisation to foster an environment of tolerance and mutual respect for diversity and cultural differences. As a leader you challenge bias and intolerance to create a culture that respects and embraces diversity. You identify and appreciate the impact of organisational decisions at the wider societal level in order to guide and mediate the alignment of your organisation’s culture and values with society.
