Critical Thinking Intermediate
At the Intermediate level of Critical Thinking you will use increasingly sophisticated methods and approaches to solve known problems. Within your role you work with team members to translate theory, creative ideas or innovative insights into solutions for often poorly defined or increasingly complex problems. You can organise and assess evidence from critical reviews and make logical conclusions, including challenging existing assumptions and thinking to better appraise known solutions and their causes and effects.
Critical Thinking Proficient
At the Proficient level of Critical Thinking you are designing, using and evaluating research or research methods to accurately investigate complex problems, situations or issues.Within your role you collaborate with your peers to identify connections between causes and issues or problems in order to develop new solutions or ideas. You are able to apply complex concepts, theory and evidence from past studies to formulate new solutions to complex ethical, technical or theoretical problems and issues. You work across broader theories and disciplines to establish complex cause-and-effect relationships of problems and investigate the root causes in order to define and solve complex problems.
Critical Thinking Advanced
At the Advanced level of Critical Thinking you will be focused on making sound strategic judgements based on evidence to improve business outcomes.You are evaluating, using or designing research or research methods to find innovative solutions to organisational problems. Within your role you are creating new theories, concepts or models to explain business problems, situations or issues and are producing new insights or knowledge to overcome these problems. You are developing predictive models that anticipate future changes to the business and formulating solutions to any problems or issues.
