At the Intermediate level of Content Marketing you are responsible for planning and assessing options to enhance marketing and business strategies. You can confidently create a content strategy and research, examine and apply innovative tools and platforms that will improve content creation. You effectively articulate solutions and recommendations that can satisfy and improve the core message to engage the target audience. You will likely manage the project schedule and resources for a creative project. You use the customer lifecycle to evaluate how content and technology can optimise the customer experience.
At the Proficient level of Content Marketing you will typically be responsible for developing content programs, strategies and metrics that satisfy campaign and channel requirements. You may also be a seasoned professional with a well-respected content track record and original insights. You ensure that the content produced optimises brand development and multi-channel marketing activities. You will effectively present and pitch concepts to stakeholders and produce distinctive and effective content strategies, processes and project plans to meet specified business, client and audience needs. You will likely manage the end-to-end development of content and creative projects and may direct and report on the delivery of content development teams and projects.
At the Advanced level of Content Marketing you are responsible for developing and driving the content vision for campaigns and projects. You direct and control the development and delivery of content to support high level marketing projects, campaigns, products and strategies. Within your role you strive to critically assess and preserve content’s positive contribution to the client, stakeholders, the business or the profession. Whether an advanced expert in content, or in coordinating content development functions, projects and requirements, you will actively work across functions and diverse teams and professionals.
